WG-2020 weatherproofing silicone sealant is a one-component and neutral curing glue which is desinged for weatherproof and waterproof of the construction curtain wall. And it is solidfied into silicone rubber by water in the air, so it can be used in a wild climate condition. For most construction material, it can produce superior bonding without primer. And to glasses, different layers of aluminum, decoration metal plate, ceramic and granite, it can produce a waterproof and sealed layer.
Product characteristics
1. Easy to use, can be squeezed anytime.
2. Neutral and cured. Suitable for most construction material and won¡¯t cause adverse reactions or corrosiveness.
3. Good caking property. Needn¡¯t primer and can perfectly bond with most material.
4. Weatherproof. Won¡¯t be influenced by sunshine, rain, snow, ozone.
5. Low modulus. Ability of support the displacement of interface is ¡À25%.
Restrictive
It can¡¯t be used in the following situations:
All materials that will bleed grease, plasticizer and solvent; all rubbers and tapes that uncured or part cured.
Tight parts (because curing of silicone sealant needs moisture from air)
Environment where always covered by water or wet throughout the year.
Frost or wet surface
The surface where will directly contact with food.
